Makerspace

Laser cutting and engraving

  • 2D laser cutting up to 10mm thick
  • Materials including wood, plastic and cardboard
  • Bed size suitable for cutting objects as large as 1000mm x 700mm
  • Engrave wood, plastic, glass, stone and some metals
  • Resolution of 50 microns

3D printing

  • A range of materials including ABS, PLA, TPU, Nylon, Polycarbonate and carbon fibre reinforced nylon
  • Bed size suitable to print objects as large as 300mm in size
  • Resolution of 350 microns

CNC routing and milling

  • Milling of timber and non-ferrous metals
  • Bed size suitable to print objects as large as 600mm in size
  • Fourth axis milling

Prototyping and manufacturing
